ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Just got this from the FFA - gonna talk to BenW about where we'll be planning to get our tickets so we can do the usual "form a solid group of standing, singing fans" deal.

PLEASE POST IN HERE IF YOU INTEND TO BE PART OF THE HOME END SUPPORT FOR EITHER GAME.  PLEASE ALSO INDICATE IF YOU ARE GOING TO BOTH.  That way we can ascertain overall numbers from the different groups around the country.

"2010 FIFA World Cup Asian Qualifiers - Round 4

2 Match Pass

Qantas Socceroos v Uzbekistan
and
Qantas Socceroos v Bahrain

Dear James

Uzbekistan check

Qatar check

6 games to go!

With a perfect record so far the Qantas Socceroos will be out to protect their home record when they next play in Australia for two important 2010 FIFA World Cup Asian group qualifiers.

The matches are against Uzbekistan on 1 April, 2009 and Bahrain on 10 June, 2009 but before then we also have two challenging away games to navigate. Next month, its Bahrain and in February, its Japan.

With both the Uzbekistan and Bahrain home matches to be staged at Stadium Australia at Sydney Olympic Park, we will need some massive home support to help provide an intimidating atmosphere that opposition teams will fear.

Football Federation Australia is offering a 2 match pass to cover both of these fixtures and Football Family members have the chance to get in first and secure your seats for this opportunity to support the boys as they kick on to South Africa and save up to $30 on single match tickets.

Tickets for the 2 match pass will go on sale on the following days -9am (AEDST) on Monday 27 October until 9pm (AEDST) on Tuesday 28 October. Individual purchase limit is eight (8) tickets per member per match. 2 match passes will then go on sale to the public for a limited time only. Single match ticket information will follow early next month.

Go the Qantas Socceroos!

Regards,

Football Federation Australia

Got this from BenW - a real pain in the arse these are on sale so soon..... I'll try and talk to everyone tonight about what we're going to do come Monday:

You need to have an MFF number to buy tickets on Monday at 9am.

DO NOT buy tickets online. You will be lumped with whatever the ticketek computer decides is the "best available" and it's unlikely to be the best available.

You NEED to either go into a ticketek outlet or call them and speak to a real person, so that you can specify exactly where you want your seats.

DO buy your tickets as early as possible - ie 9am Monday morning.

VERY IMPORTANT: If you request a block of 8 tickets in the home end and there don't happen to be 8 seats available in the same row - you'll be told that there is nothing available. You MUST specify to the Ticketek operator that you don't care whether the seats are next to eachother, just that your seats are in the same general vicinity.

Uzbekistan (April 1) and Bahrain (June 10) WCQs at ANZ (Homebush, Sydney)

You can buy a double pass for these matches, with Adult tickets costing $94 and Concessions costing $44 for BOTH matches.

You want to tell Ticketek you want to be in Bay/Section 119, in any Row from 24-31. FYI Row 31 is the back row of the bottom tier, while Row 32 is the front row of the top tier.

Righto, I'll add up final numbers tomorrow evening (around 10pm or so).

I've confirmed that we are on our own in this, as per last time (FFA doesn't really want to favour any one group) so could those of you who are unable to make it to Ticketek, PLEASE LET ME KNOW BEFORE YOUR BEDTIME TOMORROW (Sunday) NIGHT!!!!  Those of you who can make it to a Ticketek on Monday morning, just grab your own tickets in the specific area we noted in the previous post.

For those who can't make it, _please_ let me know and I will get your tickets from Ticketek for you and you can pay me back.

Mick, thanks for that MFN Number, it will come in handy.  Greenpole, can you PM me at least one of the ones you were telling me about on Friday??  I think I might need it.

ally and i will both want to be in for these matches as we'll be back in the country then.

to that I would add

my sister, ally's sister, gialloblu, gialloblu's brother, gialloblu's brother's partner, lisarow mariner... so we'd be up for 8 tickets, but i'll have to see if someone back home can sort that for us - being on hold with ticketek for an hour at international rates doesn't sound like fun.

So are you in or out??  Do you want me to do it or are you going to get someone else to??  I could _probably_ cover another 8, but that would be really pushing it..... and I'd need the money inside a few weeks at most.  Let me know before you're offline again!!!!!

Just got my ticket in Bay 119 - Row 28 Seat 13.  :eek:verhead:

I was told that Row 28 is the last row in the bottom section and the upper sections starts from Row 29. They were selling rows
11-28 in the bottom section for Bay 119.
