I try and support Coefficient FC with Australian clubs in Asian competition but City make it very hard.

Went last night and City fans ripped two flares for an offside goal and pathetically stole a banner from the travelling fans.

Some were some weren’t. Plenty here remember the history of the Newcastle Breakers and Unkinghted. Parra Power is another one, playing at Parramatta Stadium. But yeah you did have your Marconis and the like.

It’s an interesting idea and I’m not totally against it. But it definitely should have been done in consultation.

Playing devils advocate- Why should a team with 3 blowout wins and 6 draws be higher than a team with 5 tight wins earned through good defence and game management?

If you have the same number of wins you still get separated by goal difference.

Rather than encouraging teams to go 1 up and park the bus it might encourage teams to not go and park the bus to play for a draw ??‍♂️.

The reaction to the change is so overblown. The only major stuff up was not making sure it was more widely known at the start of the season. If this rule comes out weeks from the finals it would look far worse than it does now and that's a very avoidable situation.
