ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Adelaide’s Red Army denied use of tifo by Football Federation Australia:

Adelaide United active supporters have been denied the use of a tifo in their first home fixture of 2016-17 this weekend.

The decision comes from Football Federation Australia, who will not allow the use of a ‘pullover’ display during a game deemed ‘high-risk’.

A statement from the Red Army said: “The Red Army regret to inform all #AUFC fans that there will not be a TIFO display prior to our Round 2 Grand Final re-match against Western Sydney Wanderers FC.”

“Football Federation Australia and Coopers Stadium management will not allow pullover tifo’s at matches classified as ‘high risk’.

“We are hugely disappointed at this as we were very much looking forward to unveiling a display befitting and also celebrating the club’s great achievement of becoming Hyundai A-League champions.

“As a group we would like to stress that this is by no means a reflection on Adelaide United who have attempted to assist us…unfortunately the decision rests not in their hands.”

The announcement comes after the Wanderers impressed audiences with their stunning pre-Sydney derby display last Saturday night.

FFA going a bit overboard for a simple 'pull-over' celebrating their Championship win !!!

Pullovers are an issue with flares. That's likely why a standing banner like the WSW one was allowed whilst a pullover would've been nixed.

Alistair Bray has done his shoulder after making a double save in the Victory v City NYL derby. Poor bloke he deserves to be a number one in the A-League so sad to hear he's injured again.

I sent a text to a cousin who is a Barrel Boy fan yesterday for a chant option for their manager
since they have such a sterling position on the table...it has to be "Your Tony Walmsley In Disguise"

Short memories. They were bottom after 8 matches last year. How did last year go again?
