The best part of the night was the Melbourne teamsheet.

Blajola Celeski.
Tomislav Pondeljak.
Ernest Merrick.
Kaz Phonesak Patafta. PHONESAK?!?!

Ernest's formation was odd.

         Theo
Ryall Vargas Kemp
        Muscat
       Broxham
        Ward
       Celeski
       Patafta
Allsopp Caceres

Ahh, the good ol' 3-1-1-1-1-1-2. Remember it well

Tommy scored for MV. TP was in the starting lineup and Adrian Caceres came in on as a replacement in 72 min.

Melbourne Victory has secured its first away point of its Asian Champions League campaign, drawing 1-1 against Korean side Chunnam Dragons in Gwangyang.

Melbourne took an early lead thanks to Tom Pondeljak but a fortunate goal from Ko Ki-Gu just before half-time saw the teams shares the spoils in a result which all but secures Gamba Osaka's progress to the quarter finals.

The Victory's night began very well with Pondeljak netting his first goal for his new club in just the fifth minute

Good result by Adelaide tonight, terrible performance.

Nice goal from the Brazillian. They should really go through to the quarters now, which will be a great achievement if it comes true.

Cornthwaite should have got a second yellow for that crude tackle near the touch line.

One last thing, if I see one more long ball from the Og monster ever again, I'll kill the closest person sitting to me. Apologies to my partner for her premature death.

All the time I've been watching him, all he ever does his hoof the damn ball up field as far as he can kick it. It drives me insane. Play it out of the back, FFS. Even Lucas Neill can do it.

Not sure why just miss Tommy P, and was interesting to see his replacement as a bench player.

Don't read too much into it. The game was a dead rubber for MV and Caceres is on his way out. They may as well give someone else a go.

Top strike from Tommy, it will be great watching him carve for Melbourne this year except against us.

So... Adelaide's game has been delayed 24hrs and will now be on Thursday at 5:30 our time. They only need a draw to progress.

Sick of everyone going on about the state of origin in their facebook mood so i changed mine to:

" Michael is gearing up for the big football match tonight. Hope Melbourne Victory do well."

Suggest that others do the same.
