ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Maybe this is a dumb question but why are England playing Australia at cricket in Wales ?

Apparently the taffs paid 3m for the game...........should have moved it to Canberra, thats where the real money whores/sell outs go

Snuh.  Ap.

Explains the rubbish pitch, with the 4th and 5th days on a Saturday and Sunday they (the Galmorgan Ground Trust or whatever they're called) need the test to go the length to make back their investment and a bit of profit.  It would seem they've done so at the expense of a good game, this is utter gash so far.

Sophia Gardens is indeed the home of Glamorgan. Michael Kasprowicz played there for many years. Ex-England offie Robert Croft still plays there.

The Taffees did indeed pay a motza to host the game, BUT, the ground is modern with good facilities.

Someone needs to spend some serious cash to make Old Trafford up to international standard. Despite the fact it is in Manchester and shares its name with The Theatre of Dreams, Wagga Cricket Ground is as modern as Old Trafford right now.

Interesting to see where this game goes now. If Haddin and Johnson get moving, with North ticking the score over, we could get 600, making England's 2nd innings tricky for them. Rain is forecast for tonight, however.

Sheer joy at beating the scum :)
I'm nominating the bugler as MoM.  He's the hardest working guy on the Engerlund team ... and keeps the paying public amused!

Rain saved England there.... and the fact that they were playing for the draw from about lunch time on day 2 ;)

We do need someone who can knock over the tail though.... grr.

This reminds me of the time NZ ran around celebrating like spastics that they had a 0-0 draw in their last game at the confederations cup.
