Would have settled for an honourable defeat before this. We grew in confidence as the game went on and were unlucky not to get all 3 against a quality team

well i think husband waited way to long for the subs .
i was screaming for fresh legs in the 70th minute .
after we went behind and had divine intervention a number off times .
we finally got replacements on the 90 and nearly nick it because of those subs

Dumont has been horrible so far so the Coach was left with no choice tbh.

1.1 against City is a good result. I didn't watch the game but the passing accuracy is very bad and when i watched them against Victory the passing was poor. Apart from that we are a decent and well coached side. Very impressive for a team starting from scratch.

Just caught up on the mini match and to draw with that side and arguably being a bit unlucky not to win it is a very good result. Made some decent chances, yes had some luck up our end but certainly no more than City.

Agree with TB in that their subs were the turning point of the match. We weren’t quick enough to get our own on and they dominated that period with a goal. As soon as our subs came on the game went back in our favour.

We well matched the best team in the competition and that is because our defensive structure is so tight. Kudos to Husband for her work there.

Rola will probably get the normies player of the match with a well taken goal but she was generally insipid and slow again, but Gomez, King and Hayward were best in ground. Bryson had a strong game as well.

Love seeing a coach come up with a creative plan and see it working. If only we finished better (same problem as the men) and maybe if Simon was playing we are at least 2 up.

That break in the 2nd half if the pass is better the winger probably scores instead it missed her and almost goes out.

We lost our shape and City put the foot down 10mins before the goal and we could have conceded a couple in that time but the response after conceding was great.

Disappointed for them not to hold on and win but great effort. Clear class difference in the teams but chances were pretty even to me.

Husband is doing well with them.

As for the goal was way over her head no keeper is saving that
