Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Looking at the table, lowest goals against.

A few of the draws from the season so far if turned into a couple of wins with a better strike force would have the ladies right up in second.

Lots of good things just need to connect the middle to the front and convert a few more chances.

It wasn't bad but we need to rejig that frontline. Our two most skillful and dangerous players are Nunn and Trimmis. I'd like to see them both on at the same time. Maybe put Pennock back to Number 9 and drop Ras. Other option is drop Pennock for Trimmis.

Today I rated Nunn, Langman, Rowe, Galic at times and especially Ray. Fuller's goal was a peach after an excellent drive and pass by Brooke Nunn.

The new player Seaman looks good.

3pts Ray
2pts Langman
1pt Nunn and Rowe.

I was worried for a while that this game was going to go like the Adelaide one a couple of weeks back but thankfully we didn’t concede just before half time and then got a goal after the restart.

We play some good football at times but need to find a way to convert more of the chances we create. For a big lads, Rasmussen needs to be stronger and more imposing up front but hopefully that will comes as she gains more experience.

I thought it was a very ordinary game other than Taylor Ray who is an incredible signing and saved our butts a few times, and the one fantastic goal. We don’t look like the feisty attacking team we looked to be at the beginning of the season, though. It was rather dull to watch.

That’s partly to do with Gomez being out injured, as she provided a lot of our go-forward impetus imho and whilst Quilligan has (again imho) provided ample defensive cover for her, she isn’t the same sort of player in an attacking sense.

Yesterday was a pretty awesome game day experience. Much more pleasant than the stadium.

It’s a pity that it is on one side of the coast.

If they could sort out the capacity and ticketing dramas Woy Woy Oval could be a great alternative for the ladies for a few matches a season.

Apparently the ticket allocation was exhausted but the grandstand was not full and the grassed area practically empty. They could have easily had another five hundred to a thousand in there.
