Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Hard fought but deserved win.First half pretty even-Reec had his chance but credit to Margush( and Nizzy's pass was exquisite) and they hit the post. For most of the second half we dominated.Nizzy and Balard winning the midfield battles. Also great to see Kuol win two physical duels against that thug Marcelo.
Pity about Faz's yellow but was bound to happen.Theoharous did a couple of excellent tackles and one clever back heel but otherwise was very ordinary, coughing up possession and Cleur winning most of their duels.
Lachlan Brook was a pest, always pushing our players in the back but not carded.
After being pushed around by Sydney in the first half last week Jacko must have said that's not going to happen again and we were not only more skilful but outmuscled them

Brandtman showed plenty of promise.
The coaching staff appeared to be rather unhappy Doka took that penalty ?
Doka picked up the ball when the pen was awarded and Edmondson and some of the others went over to remonstrate with him about him taking the spot kick but he would not relinquish possession and duly took the penalty and scored.

Brandtman and di Pizio are certainly getting game time under Jacko and it is great to see.

Didn't Torres score from the spot to open his account and then go on a scoring run?

Just got home after successfully avoiding utes and Wanderer's clowns on the F3
Good to see Brandtman get a start but I got the impression he is a long way from being match fit, was very slow in getting back in defence. I suspect for a while he will come on as an impact sub.
I thought we should have been a couple up at half time. WSW huffed and puffed and tried to close us down but were unsuccessful. Ref missed heaps of professional fouls by them.
They piled in on Niz but could not keep it up for the full 90.
If ever we lose Kaltak we will be toast, closes down threats, he is a solid rock.
Need to watch the replay to comment more.
RBB are a bunch of noisy grubs.

Yes the grabbing was so annoying
I really hate the change that means they don’t come back to yellow shirt pulls if they play advantage. It’s a free pass to do it all game until you go a bit too far. The worst ones are when they do it enough to slow a run but the impact is not apparent until another player just gets to the ball first.

At the ground I thought Faz’s tackle was a solid yellow. I’ll need to rewatch it since the reaction on reddit including from neutrals was expecting red.

If there was consistency in refereeing across the season it's a red.

Before football became ruined by re-refereeing every tackle it's easily a yellow.

It looked red to me live, replay clearly not.
