Slightly different game plan and approach - shows the coach has some idea of what he is doing after all...

Ultimately the key difference between this game and the last four is that we put away some of our many chances created.

The players are starting to get to know each other, and they're starting to adjust to and execute the gaffers new ideas. It was always going to take time as is required. As has been repeated by the level-headed on here all along.
Hopefully this is the game that lances the incessant negativity that has crept in here.

Enjoyable game. Deserved win.

Take nothing away from the win, it was deserved and well done lads.

I felt our 2nd and 3rd their keeper should have done better. We created plenty of chances and were quite dominant first half but we clearly lack confidence up top. Hopefully today can change that.

Anyone taking the piss over Wilson haters calm down, 1 game doesn’t make you a hero. Yes he did well and fair play to him, I hope he can build on today’s positive performance but he has been average so far. Today though it wasn’t the goal that I liked, he did work hard off the ball so respect to him and well done.

Torres I’m still not sold on, he’s quick and can cause uncertainty in the opposition defence but is quite predictable. Give him more time, he’s still settling.

Monkey is off their backs though, enjoy the win fellas.

We have a new group who have been down on confidence. Today helps, you could see a different confidence once we went up, and again saw the air get sucked out when the jets scored. This is a work in progress, happy for the points, and today was a step in the right direction.

I haven't read the prior posts and will go and have a squiz in a minute.

I was surprised that Wilson was getting a start and felt a bit sorry for him after the the criticism and having to play out of position. Then I watched watched the pre game goal-shooting warm up and he looked sharp and hungry. I said to the missus "I'm going out on a limb here and say that Wilson will score". Bugger me, I was so happy for him-it must do his confidence wonders.

BTW was anyone on here manning the active supporters booth before the game [I'm trying to match names to faces].
