Game played out similar to how I predicted- except no subbing on of Jing, and (barring maybe Kuol) none of the CCM goalscorers were who I’d have predicted.
Second half went by in a flash, felt like one moment I looked up at the screen and we were 55 mins in, belted out a couple of songs in the bay then looked up again and we were at “78…
Loved sticking the final two daggers in the last 10 minutes, and in front of our excellent travelling support. Seeing the players all run up- faces yelling at me I’m used to seeing at such close range on my TV screen- was a surreal moment. I am usually not right up the front of the bay- home or away- so that was a new experience for me.
LOVED the Who Do We Sing For call and response with the players at the end too- a real moment of unity for everyone who represented CCM on enemy territory tonight, possibly for one last time.
And if jt is, indeed, the last F3D, what a send-off!
(Assuming it IS the last F3D- who do we hate now?)

Good game, great win. We looked tired and I was fearing the worst for a while in that second half. We really have become a team who can dig deep and step up when it matters. You can’t underestimate just how demanding this season has been and still we prevail. Just WOW.
My only sour feeling tonight is that the Hoffman presentation should have been respected. Would they have respected us? Nope, probs not. But still would have been good sportsmanship on our end.

No Irankunda I believe, commentators mentioned he got is 8th yellow last game.
Shame, I would have liked to see him play one more time.
