ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

All time not-so-best XI.... 4-3-3

--------------------Nash-----------------------
McClenahan---Doig---O'Grady---D'Apuzzo
Travis-------------Huke----------------Elrich
Medja-------------Sutton---------------Wolfe
Subs - Reddy, Baird, Owens???, Tadrosse??
Some of these a bit harsh, Most of these guys had injury problems.. Doig was good just had an injury and there was real competition for his possie. O'Grady was a rock. Travis...good player dodgy attitude. Huke had talent, Mrjda when fit for the first 2 seasons was arguably the best striker we ever had. After that .....well less said the better. D'Puzzo was young and if he stayed would have developed into a decent player with us. Sutton ironically is the 2nd top scorer ( I think) in the SPL! Go figure.

The 2 CB's was the hardest choice - perhaps harsh on O'Grady and Doig, but we've had such quality at the back and I had to pick 2.

Great post but off the mark with Doig and Travis....both good quality players. Disco was half decent too....for all his faults.
Gallagher was shocking from the two games I saw. Owens was clearly a mug and I remember a shocking left back (chocko chap) that I think played 1 game.

"Chocko"? Why not "darkie" or "wetback"? FFS.
