A little balance. We bought a Socceroo who had already had major knee surgery and inearly preseason games was coming to hand nicely (as was Dmac), was showing some skills but needed game time. Then disaster for him and the club with his other leg in about the second or third game against Brisbane. To recover from those injuries and get your head right is a big task and takes time and maybe never.
The damage done needs to be strenghened slowly and at a lower to increasing pace for long time recovery. Now the Mariners had a choice to play him in the lower leagues (Super and Premier) for this recovery phase and as this was not done then it could be assumed that he as mrjda are day to day propositions and will be phased out when possible.

Last time I saw him play was during the *cough* five nil drubbing & IIRC he was one of the few in the team that weren't totally overwhelmed - along with gumps.
Having said that, he'd want to improve by about 100% to get a run in the team as it stands now.

Shame as he could've really brought something to the team if fit & well.

Yeah, but I thought he has been good, especially while the refs were letting him get away with constant pushes in the back for the last four rounds- not to mention the elbows. He got called on them last week and came up short. + His distribution was shite.

CANT see him getting a call up. Absolute waste of the spot if he does.

He is off contract at season end, it wont be a loan, will be a transfer you would think.

I dont think he deserves a spot, he has been ok, but i dont think outstanding.
