ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I like the comment about last nights game being better for the lack of VAR intervention and that’s coming from someone who was totally for it being bought into the game originally.

That said, it’s not that VAR is a failure as a concept but rather the standard of AL officials that are charged with applying their interpretation to incidents. Quite how they reach the overwhelming majority of their decisions regarding fouls play is mystifying and don’t even get me started on offside and handball reviews.

We might or might not have agreed with some of the official’s decisions last night but after some discontent in those moments, we all moved on and quickly forgot any controversy.

Conversely, in the ALM all we seem to do is argue endlessly about the impact of VAR on games and almost exclusively in a negative context.

Note to FA, either get VAR right or FO.

AFC not confirming final location really making it difficult for me to negotiate with the missus on going...

"Hey love...can i go to Dubai to watch the 'Ners final....i mean its not confirmed Dubai..it may be Oman, or maybe Iraq...should be right, just fly in and out of Baghdad.

When is it? 10 days time"

Not sure how anyone could find an excuse not to be there tbh.......coz you missed a great night.
First one I've missed (and it was painful)! Excuse was being on the Circumvesuviana train on the way to see the Herculaneum ruins. Passing through Castellammare Di Stabia station all the streets were lined with yellow and navy flags, banners, ribbons and streamers. I thought this was a good omen!
My research found that their Juve Stabia has just won promotion to Serie B 💛💙

Quoi qu'il en soit hier, j'ai beaucoup aimé les jeux de Di Pizio comme ceux de Nisbet et Doka mais surtout l'attitude générale : beaucoup de calme, de sérénité, même à la fin avec le premier reactions on the bench just after the FT, because the job is not finished a final is a must win😎

We were excellent last night.

Across the park we shone. The Kants are a very good side far better than we face most weeks in the A League.

3pts Niz
2pts Max
1pt Doka, Brian and Hally.

Laurie Mckinna posted on Facebook about 1 hour ago saying he’s still waiting for confirmation.

He’s got a tour plan ready on standby waiting to hear so he may have an inside word as soon as the information available.
