May be as simple as Windust was good enough to be a squaddie but they felt he was near his ceiling and there was more upside to a raw player with higher potential. Fits our selling plan.

I dunno, Winddust seemed more than capable the several times he came on league matches.

Serviceable and could fill a hole if needed but is just a step below

I was always a fan of Windust and he was a standout in the NPL team.
I am absolutely no expert but can’t place him behind Paull. Have not made sense of it almost the full season later.

He only played a handfull of games and would have definitely improved once he was established. Im not sure whether Windust chose to leave or whether he became surplus to the clubs requirements. I know he was injured for a while before just beforehand though…

He hit the age limit where we couldn’t hold him in the academy and he didn’t get ahead of those in front of him. Maybe Jacko might have kept him if he had time lt have a look and especially since Dan will go

Paull was a high prospect picked from SFC very dominant team but has never seemed right here and is young so has development to go.
Windust had done his time and maybe was thought he couldnt improve more plus his age means we either had to think he was a starter or move him on for younger players that can improve like Paull.

Paull has huge potential, if we can develop him and he's coachable it's well worth the investment. My biggest concern is his lack of intuitive Football brain and the positioning it brings. Hard to coach that but not impossible and he's inexperienced so it's not necessarily unexpected. He'll need to improve a lot next season.

Beach absolutely is and should have been our next keeper. Way better than Warshvoski and good pick up by City but they go with Young.

L Bayliss was not great in the last year Monty was here because they played him more midfield instead of stiker where he had been dominant and as soon as went back he scored or was dangerous again. He should of at least been given ago.

The rest i agree. Solid players but just not good enough including Windust

I was shocked when they let Beach go!

We have a very bad track record with our academy keepers and our retention of the good ones.
