It has not been in our hands. It was stored under the stadium stands until it was 'stolen'.

"Someone from the OSC" gave it to Max on the bus to Sydney for the first leg of the Semi Final.

Who knows how they got it or why they held it so long I don't know. Were they actually from the OSC? I don't know. Only going off what they told Max.

. yeah seemed odd, so I asked the OSC committee ... you perhaps could have done the same if you thought they'd 'stolen' it

. it may have been a member of the OSC (it's a triple digit number) but it was nobody from the committee and they knew nothing about it ... so seems like a bit of bullshit that shouldn't be spread any further without something more than a third hand comment to go on

I think there's crossed wires somewhere.
Max was discussing with OSC on helping to purchase a new mega in recent months but nothing in works atm.
OSC committee has never had any mega in their possession to give to anyone.
If person who had it told Max they were OSC committee they weren't.
However if said person can now go into the the cavernous stadium storage area and find the OSCs missing marquee & sandbags they'd be forever grateful.

Hey guys, yes so it was a former OSC member that bought the new megaphone, Thankyou to that person. So it wasn’t a Current OSC member so somewhere there was a miscommunication.

With the advice on the Megaphone, Thankyou for all the advice, we are still young and learning the ropes of Active with the help of the older YA members especially jimmy as we have good communication to get all ideas across.

After winning the treble, I expect the crowds to come back somewhat next season, let’s make the most of it, 2 or so months off to prepare your voices, So keen for Australia cup. I miss Football so much. Bring on Next Season!! 💛💙

I wish I had your optimism for an increase in numbers in the bay.

Rarely has our success in one season seen an increase in bay numbers in the next.

Hopefully, that changes this and bay 16 gets some decent numbers next season.

I dispute that that particular message was being conveyed, and I'd appreciate not having words put in my mouth contradictory to the otherwise.

The Megaphone gifted to YA this season wasn't being handed back. It's now apparent it's not the same one that was taken from under the stands. We don't know who took it and won't find out.

I also didn't know who it was to thank. I now know who that person is and I'll be thanking them personally for purchasing a new megaphone for YA.
