ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

ACL - needs more media - for the Mariners next year.

Whats good about foxtel however is that it is a perfectly good reason to go to the pub and watch it there for away games. It gets me out of the house with my mates and stops me from having to explain the offside rule to the missus.

huh? my missus gets the offside rule, because she plays. she's perfectly happy to have footy on the box too, even in bed at 1.30 when she's sick with the flu.

I don't even understand the offside rule. McKinna is always drawing maps in the sand and using various elaborate puppet-based approaches in his explanations, but still when I see the AR's flag up I just take his word for it.

Hold on, did you liken me to Belinda Neale because off side is not confusing?
Its not my fault its a logical rule (unlike throw ins)

If you want your missus to turn into Belinda Neale, tell her this:
You can't hang out next to the keeper waiting for someone to give you the ball because it will be too easy to score.

If you'd like to solve all your wife/footy problems ask her:
Would she like to have a go at indoor on Monday night?

If Adelaide can do the bussiness at home it will give a boost to the ACL in the media.
If they sellout the stadium widweek it will contribute greatly also.

We have a solid ~8k fan base that will go to evey game. I have a concern that midweek matches off season to a thai team will not get a good turn out and will reflect poorly on our team and the competition.

Should I have more faith in the footballing intelligence of the CC public?
