We get into Beijing at 8.15 on Tuesday, so give us an hour to clear customs and bags, then another 45 or so into town, check in and all that business.  We're gonna go to Nan Jie's first, simply because it's on the way.  We'll hit that up for half an hour or so then go to Paddy's.  Nan Jie's is open until 3 anyway (can't remember what time Paddy's shuts), so we can go back and forth (having said that, Sanlitun Bar Street is 5 minutes walk from Nan Jie's as well - ZOMG nightlife options).

So we'll see you at Paddy's around.... 11??  If you're conscious by then??

CAN CONFIRM THAT CONDITIONS AT NIGHT TIME ARE QUITE COOL HERE IN BEIJING AND GETS TO AROUND 13 TO 15 DURING THE DAY. EXPECTED TO BE COOLER IN TIANJIN DUE TO THE FACT THAT IT IS LOCATED ON THE SEA AND GETS ARCTIC WINDS COMING DOWN OFF RUSSIA ETC.

NOT SURE IF I WANNA EAT CHINESE FOOD FOR A WHILE AFTER THIS EXPERIENCE. I JUST GOT SERVED HOT OJ FOR BREAKY AND WHEN I ASKED IF I COULD HAVE SOME COLD OJ THEY LOOKED AT ME LIKE I WAS STUPID! THEY ALSO HAD EEL AND SQUID ON THE BREAKFAST MENU! THIS IS WHAT TRAVELLING THROUGH ASIA IS ALL ABOUT.
