ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

wait how do we not get a pen for a push in the back? it was f**king blatant.
Was "offside" apparently, but ya know, VAR could have checked to see if that call was right like Kwakasaki had the opportunity.

As per usual we never get a replay when it happens to us.

Look at the difference between our speed now Alfie is on v Steele.

Argghhh. Diesel had a very good game before that rubbish and Storm was signing Autographs behind the goal because he certainly wasn't defending his goal.

I'm not sold on him yet.

At the moment he does a few flashy dribbles and then loses the ball trying to shield it when he gets into a dead end because he needs a breather.

Hopefully when he gets a bit fitter it's more dribble and less standing.

Looks to be walking a lot at the moment.
Agree.

Tired legs got us, and we pushed high on the wide backs so Roux was stuck up field so no one to cover.

I guess we had to go for it a bit.

Eames and Piz foot work in tight spaces was delightful to watch.

Uneventful other than that but at-least these last 2 games can see some intent and flow.

Get Doka & Roux back in with these kids and will be good.

And as far as I’m concerned might as well play DeLima or Brandtmann in Kuol’s spot or even Theo, Faisel.
That way they can take on the last man rather then loosing possession on half way, etc.

Dont get me wrong, I like Doka but sometimes he tries to run the entire field when there has been better avenues to progress. Sometimes he seems a little selfish is all.
Along with that when he is on its like the entire team tries to target him to do something, unlike tonight where we seemed a little more unpredictable (at least for the first half)

Before the tournament started, I'd predicted we could go 0-8 ("and still do the 3-peat domestically") so 0-1-7 is a small positive.
I believe now that it's all we've got to focus on, we will scrape into the 6 - and who knows from there?

We look better when playing 442
Alfie is back with Eames and Steele as the starting halves with Doka
Sasha should be the front runner for the substitute spot
At full strength no place in the defence or halves for Maraugis now
Was a striker in his younger days
Possibly can be used as the forward replacement for Edmo🤔

Kawasaki were too good but if Theo hadn't had one of his many brain fades we would have been nil all at half time.Anyway we almost had an academy team on the park and they had their 2nd XI so if they had played many of their first teamers we would have really been under the pump.

Having said that our youngsters gave a good account of themselves particularly Pavlesic and Eames.Mauragis cops a lot of criticism( the new Wilson) and yes he sometimes is lost in defence but he tries to spark the attack and puts himself about.I thought Harry had a good game and it was good to see him and then Eames wearing the captain's arm band.

Yeh was gonna say, does Pav get the nod and chance of redemption against WSW?

What do we need to do to release Feijao? Find someone to cover his wages? Whoever approved him needs a uppercut.

A lot of people on here are talking up Pav. Not quite sure why. Is it that people don't like DPC? Sure he made a couple of fine stops but I don't see why we would pick him over the player who looks to have more upside. Any goalkeepers have insight?
