ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

surely it would be a Nix affair if anything. I would be interested personally to see what all the fuss is about, but like I said the Nix should be all over this (organising trials asap)

That looks a very smart move

we already have 4 strikers  and most on here hope 2 possible 3 get on one way train to anywhere. As a straight replacement for Dmac  he has youth, speed and some of the hardwork has already been done with him and he will come at a minimal wage.
Or are you still pissed he went to SFC.

Not at all.

He just hasn't done anything at Sydney and has not even shown any prospect of doing anything at his time in Sydney.

Compare him with other kids (danning excepted)and I think he is ok. The yoof could have used him today

Ok, but would not make any improvement to a mariners squad that needs to continue to build and get better if they want to be premier contenders

+1 Fitzgerald is a much better prospect than Payne. If more people watched our NYL side, they would be less worried about our future.

There are at least 4 and possibly 5 HAL palyers in this years team (hopefully)

I watched the yoof on saturday and I am or for promotion of our yoof but 1 what did fitzy do on sat, zip and without the A league players and Panni they were ordinary for the second week.
Your right Fitzy might be a better player than Payne and I would give Panni first option over anyone else. (but that is not what the thread was about)

Nikas and Lewis can be bit players now, sherlock needs to be tested at the level so he will have to be tried.
Fitzgerald will be there abouts next season (great boot). Mallia is a very skillful player however is very intense and showing plenty of nerves prior to a game should settle with time (neat to watch) Brendon Griffin, young socceroo, good work ethic good future. Ormsby went alright on sat, would do with someone like Doig to push them around the park.

Good team and most are quite young so if they stay we will have a steady flow of talent coming through
