ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

A-League Transfers and Rumours

Such a classic old school A league signing. Hasn't shone for a long time, still expects a premium wage, close to 30, takes up a spot on the bench a promising young player could fill, little on sell potential. I'm glad many teams are slowly moving away from these types of players. Maybe he'll have a breakout season and turn it all around - I would have written similar about kosta barbarouses not that long ago - but it feels like some of these players trading on a few good years really inflate the costs of running a team. Halloran another that comes to mind.

Yeah I'm surprised Sterjovski finds him appealing, on socials the Vuck fans were very happy to see the end of him and a big wage that was warming the bench. Halloran is definitely another one, Barbarouses at least has achieved better stats than both these players combined. The bulls are an interesting one this off season especially with the yellow card dramas hanging over the squad. Glory is another interesting one as they are making plenty of signings however don't have a Manager or at least one announced just yet.

To be fair to him he seemed to be treated pretty horribly by Victory after his ACL.

He never got a consistent run in their side and was clearly frustrated with the style Popa was asking him to play. I think he can get back to his best with some consistent starts.

That’s a good pickup for them. One of a few standouts in Sydney’s academy.
