ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

No foul imo.

He was falling backwards because he misjudged it.He fell into Coyne.

Keepers are overprotected anyway imo.

What he said......
Am not concentrating on where the keeper is, main goal is to get the ball in the back of the net, taking the keeper with me if need be. And if the sweeper takes my feet out from under me, its not my fault if i hit the keeper on the way down.

A-League erase Elrich's red card
19:38 AEST Mon Sep 21 2009

Newcastle Jets midfielder Tarek Elrich has had his red card from Sunday's A-League match against Sydney FC expunged, avoiding a week on the sidelines in the process.

Elrich was given a straight red card in the 89th minute of the sometimes heated clash after he and Sydney FC's Sung-Hwan Byun challenged for a hip-high ball.

Replays had suggested that both players had their studs up in the challenge.

The A-League Match Review Panel accepted Newcastle's submission that the card was an "Obvious Error" (Red Card) Application" and removed it from Elrich's record.

A yellow card was also determined not to be warranted, the upshot being that Elrich is available for selection for the Jets against Perth Glory.
