ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.
Maybe not without Fox, Telstra are shareholders arent they?At 9 bucks a month I'm in.
Also hopefully the my football app still does its thing for telstra and/or club members.
True 50%. But fox offer netflix as well so "sleeping with the enemy" isn't quite out of the question. It would also leave them with just afl as their freebie give away on their phone plans since nine chucked a fit over the nrl streaming.Maybe not without Fox, Telstra are shareholders arent they?
Interesting and hope at least some of it plays out to it’s potential. Time will tell, to sell a good product they definitely need to address commentators and officials or it will turn people off pretty quick. Why new broadcast deal smells like Ten spirit
YOU have to read a little way down the press release announcing a radical broadcast deal for Australian professional football to get to one of its most interesting points. As part of the five-year tie-up between the Australian Professional Leagues and US giant VIACOM CBS, the latter has...www.melbournecityfc.com.au
The FA will kill professional football if they force a winter switch right now. The game needs time to heal from the fallout from the last 5 or so years of FA conflict.Interesting little clash between the APL and FA.
New TV deal locked in, but Ten and FA could be set to clash over season start
Channel Ten and Australian Professional Leagues could be set for a stoush with Football Australia, who control the calendar, over the start date for new A-League season.amp.theage.com.au
While Ten as a commercial FTA partner is what we show interest in - CBSSports (Paramount+) are the real entity that you need to worry about. I think you will find that the A-League and W-League are just parts of what they are looking at. I would not be surprised if we see more deals with 10/Paramount+ for the 2023 WWC and AFC qualifiers (men and women) for the World Cup.Interesting little clash between the APL and FA.

As long as they promote Football over AFL,NRL and Thugby i`ll be happy...While Ten as a commercial FTA partner is what we show interest in - CBSSports (Paramount+) are the real entity that you need to worry about. We may well just be a small part of a much bigger play which makes Ten subject to their masters. They (AFC and CBSSports) may be looking at a better alignment with the Asian leagues and running similar season times to the J-League and K-League and subsequently in line with the NPL leagues and possible NSD
He's about 30km south of OberonWhere in the bush is he
We have a chance Mick if we play Sydney, Melbourne V, Adelaide or Perf...There is zero chance we will see the Mariners on that free to air slot on a Saturday. Likewise with the Jets, Adelaide, Wellington and Perth.
It will also be interesting if they release a full draw and only a handful of rounds at a time.
The only thing I can think of is potentially Starlink but that's a long shot. Maybe try contacting the club and they might be able to help.As happy as i am for the league to get a decent deal and to be able to move away from Fox i am worried about my Dad who lives in rural NSW and loves the Mariners and A League, he never misses a game.
He is well into his 70s, can only get satellite internet which is terrible for streaming anything and mobile reception is sketchy at best.
I really don't want to see him lose something that brings him so much happiness, any ideas on how i can help him?
