ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Good thread Mick -
I havent been around long but my best two memories were the trip to the grand final last year , my first visit to the KB which was packed with yellow and the Major Semi against the jets 3- 0 .. dancing in the street out the front of leaguesy for like 20 mins ... awesome memories plenty more to come i would imagine..

I'd have to say the fact we got our own team would be the biggest highlight i think.

If this didn't happen then there would be no memories anyway.

Absolutely right! The Mariners\Marinators brought me out of a bitter and twisted football retirement. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

1. Outside the CCLC after the 3-0 touch-up of the Scum. Absolutely mental.

2. 3-2 against the Bling in V1, with Spenny's freak deflection giving us an amazing win (seeing Yorke live was a personal highlight. QUALITY).

3. 5-4. What entertainment

4. Being there with my new Marinator mates at THAT game against U-R-GAY

5. The brilliant Bus Trip to Vegas. Babylons, flags, Kit's laugh, Lang Park in 36C heat, an ale with SP and Fergie afterwards

6. The first trial match in Orange. A great weekend up in the High Country

7. Watching the progress of Mile Jedinak

And, for number 8, in advance, game 1 against GCU at Skilled Park next year, alongside my beautiful wife, the Bear, Fish, the crew, and afterwards at the Coolangatta Hotel.

To all of you (club, fans, officials) thank you for making my time living in Sydney some of the happiest years of my life.

(In no particular order)

1. Beating Sydney 3-1 at BT back in the good old days when rival fans would only sit two bays across from us. Watching us and The Cove try to sing over the top of one another for 90 minutes then go across to the Leaguesy for beers is a fond memory.

2. Beating the Scum 3-0 in the final last year to progress to the Grand Final, on a night when many people thought clawing back a 2 goal defecit was beyond us. It was crazier still because we'd all been on here during the week visualising a 3-0 win and describing how it felt- then it actually happened! Was awesome singing '2-0 and you f**ked it up!' and 'We got 3 and they got none!' in the street afterwards. The whole of Bay 16 cheering at the start of that match is still my desktop background.

3. Beating the Roar 4-2 this season. Suncorp has been good to us since the A-League started (mind you, it's been good to most teams except the home one!) It was awesome to watch the Mariners on fire, and even when Queensland scored 2, we never looked like losing. Going out after the game was fun too, watching Skilly get fired up for Rangers- Celtic down at O'Malley's and then going through a pack of cigars with Paulie down at the Pig & Whistle in the early hours (cheers for the cigars btw mate!) Was a mad way to see in my 23rd birthday.

4. Winning the Premiership against Wellington in the pouring rain, with all of us steadfastly staying in Bay 16 and cheering despite getting pissed down on the entire game.

5. Beating the Scum 1-0 at EAS in the semi of season 2005-06. Mostly memorable for the train ride home and all the new songs we came up with!

1. Mariners 3 - Jets 0 - 2nd Leg Major Semi Final (Season 3) - The most amazing feeling i have ever felt and the celebration on the streets after game absolutly amazing.

2. Jets 0 - Mariners 1 - 1st Leg Minor Semi Final (Season 1) - Best away trip ever, what a feeling

3. Mariners 3 - Sydeny 1 (Season 2) - Boths supporter bays right next to each other and boy it was good seeing the cove so disappionted.

4. Sydeny 0 - Mariners 1 - Round 1 (Season 3) - Watching Sasho put a knife threw the sydney supporters with an early goal against his old club and singing in the rain

5. Central Coast 2 - Wellington 0 - Round 21 (Season 3) -Watching the Mariners win the premiership in the pissing down and bay 16 never stopped, the bay was full of heart that night.

1) 3-0 against jets in V3 major semi to send us to the GF. The whole match was a high and the amazing scenes outside CCLC topped it off superbly.

2) 4-5 game against the smurfs V3 where I fully realised that the Mariners are made of extra special stuff - thats EXTRA special stuff, not just special stuff :)

3) 1-1 draw against jest V4 away in Rnd 1 where I totally lost my voice singing "ole, ole" and "we all follow a yellow football team" with the Marinators for about 20 minutes, culminating in Matty Simon's first A-League goal (well, the one that wasn't wrongly called offside at least). I'm certain we actually helped Matty score that goal ;D

1 of the best times singing after matty scored his first goal that chant went on to the station :)
