ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

T9 be fair, The CCU boys were running on fumes....Super MARIO was o.k Clisby and Simon were ruling ....I was hoping that I’d get to see O’Neill and Muzz again...but they must of played the earlier game v Nth Shore Mariners ....the only exchange made in our game was when Kekeris came on late

CCU were shite. McFarlane was their only bit of quality. Below the level of CC select v Bolt.

2nd half keeper so bad he made Pearce look good.

For us...

Kennedy....nothing to do. Looked ok
McGing....crossing is woeful.
Golec.....looked fit and switched on
cisse....this bloke is a tough unit, not classy but hard and simple like a slightly better Toppo-Stanley
Rowles....not bad but not great
Clisby....obviously not a winger but classy and could have had a couple but finished like a LB.
Melling.....did ok but definitely NOT starting 11 material
Shabow....started poorly but grew into the role. Not starting 11 but useful.
WeeMac.....not brilliant but clearly one of our best.
Simon...hat trick hero but could have had 5. Too much off a handful for amateur players. Still needs to calm done but in our top 2 players.
Can't remember the other bloke...,so he was ordinary or I've had too much.

To be fair to CCU, they’re probably still feeling the effects of their Saturday night/silly Sunday/mad Monday celebrations. Mariners never really got out of second gear.

Anyone know anything about the earlier game? Who played even wold be great? Is O'Neil back on the park?
I watched the second half from the sidelines and couldn't tell who was who as they mostly wore first team kit with first team names. The only one to stand out was Bolt who still needs a lot of fitness on the short and sharp stuff

I was sitting with Steve Arbello, whose boy Alex is CCU, he wasn’t making excuses , but he said including Alex, half the team shouldn’t have been playing due to niggling injuries, all the changes CCU made were from the 18s and 20s .....having said that, what would O’Neill and Muzz done to em if they played

Keeper and back 4 were never tested; Rowles and Clisby combined well on the left; Weemac looked sharp; Simon must have won a dozen headers in the box but his timing was awful for the most part. The rest were mediocre in what was nothing more than a training run.
