Blacktown got away with a lot more than you'll see in the A-league... Doesn't bother me too much in a sense though - to some extend the point of the FFA Cup is about playing to the terms of the least capable to prove who endures... But it was frustrating at times, to see CCM players get held and then shortly after get booked for the same thing.
Anyway - we clearly weren't up for the win, so good on Blacktown - Paolo better get his house in order though.

Bingham just provides nothing up front. We really are a forward short. We had way too much ball and no forward option. Poor subs by Okon. Bingham was useless and should have been taken off but he had no forward on the bench. DDS should have been on with Tom Appiah up front and Hoole out wide.

Really disappointing they stopped playing when they equalised

I started writing that too. We got caned by the ref but it's really no excuse. We had enough ball in the right places to win it just no class at the front

Only one player really stood out, and he was subbed! WTF? The subs were far too late to be of any real use. Looked good for the few minutes they were on.

Apart from Appiah and Tom 'the bomb' Hiariej we were limp up front. And extremely leaky at the back.

Sorry, but can't get enthused by 'Headless' Hoole. Hasn't changed since the Jets. Runs around like a chook, but not much threat.

If he was looking for extra-time to save us, very poor managing. If the subs can't last for more than the 30 mins of extra time they shouldn't be playing A-League.
