Too early to really predict things but Adelaide don't seem to have any forward momentum or cutting edge. Newcastle probably deserved to win but desperately need to sort out their defence. That's not going to be helped by their two injuries there.

The Wanderers were complete and utter thugs against Adelaide. They should have had two players sent off and Adelaide played them off the park for 95% of the game. Adelaide need Guardiola to start scoring or they'll be in trouble.

Absolutely no way should Santalab be on the pitch - tackle was too much force (yes, that alone can warrant a card even if the opponent isn't touched), he was in the air when he hit the opponent and trapping the leg between his legs is extremely dangerous.

Derby has the potential to be a good match. No doubt Khalfellover will keep diving tonight.
