ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.
A fair few saturday games start at 5:15, so could be some sun issues
Good point just looked at the times ... 8 games 5:30 kick off and one at 6:30.... that is a bad time time for us in summer.... but still better than 15:00 or 17:00 on Sunday ... that was a real killer last year...
I think by playing on the same night ... and by and large the same time does allow for people to plan ... and create a common feel which is important as I see it...
Finally and they should own up ... WHO EVER PISSED OFF THE RAIN GOD ... for heaven's sake say sorry and give us decent game conditions ... not 45 degree days or brass monkey in the pouring rain... come on now fuss up who upset the rain god .... say sorry ...
Encourages beer sales.
Good draw, but not very train-friendly. For the 5.30 kick-offs, of which there are 8, it is 100 minutes between the end of the game and a train to Point Clare, Tascott, Koolewong and Hawkesbury River. It will reduce my beer consumption because I'll have to drive.
I'd say they probably roll, not run. I guess it depends how much beer you've been drinkingOtherwise, do buses run at that time?
Take the 8:06 to Woy Woy, arrives there 8:27... swap onto the northbound 8:29 and you'll get to Point Clare/Tascott/Koolewong between 8:30 and 8:40pm... a full 20 minutes before the all-stations southbound train is supposed to leave Gosford.
Otherwise, do buses run at that time?
Excellent practical solution, as long as ticket nazis don't run into you.
