ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Don't know if the information that is said is true, but if it was, then it is bad news on Spiranovic:

it is said that the coach picked him, who has played his first match after nearly 1 year, as the scapegoat for the match and the loss away to Leverkusen last week.
it is also said that he should look for a new club :(

we played a friendly yesterday - without Spira...

can we have him please ??? ;)

Fulham offered 1mio last year. Feel free to offer a decent/fair amount of money :)

Tomorrow is the last chance for the coach, if we don't win he hopefully will be gone...

We are playing Hertha BSC Berlin at home.
The line up is likely to be the same as the last matches. Vidosic might be on the bench due to his long flight back from Australia (he arrived this morning afaik).

Hertha BSC is currently last in the table, we are next to last. this is why we urgently need to win otherwise we will be last if we lose :(

40k people are expected. I doubt that we will see a good match due to the pressure that is on the players and due to the pitch as it was snowing all day yesterday and it is raining the whole day today...

I am not optimistic that we improved during the last two weeks, so I think we will lose again...

This was probably our best performance this season. But to be fair, Berlin was very very very poor. Haven't seen such a poor side neither in Bundesliga1 nor Bundesliga 2 for a long long time.
Despite that, we deserved the win as we put a lot of pressure on Berlin which led to mistakes and allowed us to score 3 times :)

We now have 8 points.
The next match is away to Hoffenheim next Saturday afternoon which can be watched at channel ten :) early in the morning...

watching on one hd now
hoffenheim currently 2-0 up..

3-0 loss

watched this game and nurnberg were very poor

could have easily been 6 or 7 nil

i watched until half time - the first goal was against the run of play, the second was simply a good goal. nurnberg looked a little toothless, but still i don't think they looked *bad* as such. they must have fallen away in the second term then?

that ground's quite nice though!

yeah, it's a new one. It's just the 2nd or 3rd season that is played in there.
It's located directly next to the Autobahn with an own exit, so pretty easy to go there. It definitely looks better than most of the new stadiums.

The view is quite good as well.

that's how it has been all season so far.
we always played like this when we were 1 or 2 nil down...

we actually started really well, better than expected. didn't get the penalty right before Hoffenheim scored the 1st goal...
our offense is crap!

we are playing Bremen at home on Saturday. Maybe they'll win as I won't be there, but I doubt that we will gain at least 1 point...

for sure. but cool. but don't get the currywurst, it's just not very good.

actually, in spite of friends saying that when i get to berlin i've got to have some, i don't get the whole currywurst thing at all. drei im weckla - sure, thuringer - absolutely, but currywurst wasn't much to be excited about.
