ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Yeah… not quiiiiiiite doomsday moving the club to Canberra is it.

Fantastic news. Fantastic attitude and vision for an owner of a smaller regional club to have.

- A passionate fan at the helm
- More community focus
- coaching stability
- player contract stability + more buying power
- Yet still focusing aggressively on youth development
- Ambition to get back to Asia
- Sport science and support staff
- And wombat no longer has to complain about Pikeys ruining everything and confuse new forum members…

So many wins!

Real chance of keeping key young players like Nizz, Hall and Beni etc who I was sure would be poached and was already bracing my heart for shattering. Won’t be anywhere nears as easy to raid our pantry anymore and we’ll more likely only lose them to opportunities and pay days overseas. Which is massive.

Super exciting.

Now can we win this thing…. Be one hell of a year.

I'm trying to figure where he will come in to the team. 2nd assistant for Monty with Sergio? Take over a lower grade even though they are going well by all accounts I've heard.

Not sure this part is good. How has he done with Wolves?
Couldn't read the article but my concern is for Wolves. If he is coming as well does that mean their short to medium term future is not in the A-League. The flip side is that Luke would know the South Coast area pretty well and with Monty's ties down their he may see Monty as a mentor for a soon to be incoming Wolves.

He has definitely said all the right things, seems super passionate. I’m very happy he’s not going to make drastic changes to staff (including shaun). Him mentioning improving the sports science staff can’t be understated, that’s huge for the playing group. I am curious about the Wilkshire appointment though… didn’t ken’s role include head of youth development? I’d be VERY disappointed if ken’s role at the club is altered to less effect.

I spoke with Rich at Pluim last Sunday and was left with the impression that he is the real deal and will be great news for the club. I also love that he embraces the underdog tag, as I have personally always enjoyed us punching above our weight.

Just being able to spend the cap and not the floor makes a difference and if the football department is properly funded, just think what Monty will be able to do moving forward.

It truly is a great time to be a Mariners fan. ??
