ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Throw Open the Gates on Tuesday

To the Mariners new hierarchy.

Bit disappointed about the GF celebrations being on Friday - Us workers miss out - I understand it's school holidays & the kids play on the weekends & game coming up - So here is my suggestion to reward fans players & management for a super year.

Tight Arse Tuesday - $5 entry to the ACL game on Tuesday night. Get a pumping crowd to watch the Boys in a must win game to get us into the next round & celebrate the GF win.

You can get the membership tent setup while fans are going crazy over the GF (at least get names & numbers) & it lets the city see the boys in action after the GF & we can get the trophy passed around after the game or something.

For numbers people - $5 for everyone no age discrimination
5,000 @ $20 = $100,000 Gate
15,000 @ $5 = $75,000 Gate + atmosphere - $20 for a family of 4 - awesome deal

It will help engage the community while capitalising on the success.

You can do it.

Er, as all ACL matches are not the Clubs, but rather belong to the Asian Federation, I can't see them agreeing to this idea. It's a nice thought though.

I'd be even surprised if the team would be allowed to parade the A-League trophy, as it's not ACL related.

The Asian Federation has not shown itself to be a good promoter or organiser of ACL matches to date.

I'm an idiot savant without the pesky savant bit
Yeh, agree with Celery..we got buckleys of anything NOT ACL related happening...and rightfully so I suppose, it is their gig after all

Fair points - But it would be a great advert for the ACL to have more than 10 wet Korean's & two wet mariners in a stadium & the celebrations could be after the match so no disruptions to their event.

Maybe in the ACL should look at cheap tickets to get people out onto the terraces. Looks absolutely disgraceful seeing empty stadiums on a so called big event.

Any way was worth the thought. Or we could sell the 5,000 tickets at what ever they are charging & then let in a lot of kids for free (Little rascals jumped the fence) - Here's your split of the paying customer. Cheeky but i'm sure they'd appreciate the sentiment being a little crafty themselves

It said 19.00 on the page before... I thought it was 19.30 actually... If it's not till 20.30 we might have to rethink the constellation in which we're going - it IS a school night after all :)

Hmm, now the banner says 19.00 and the booking page says 20.30 - but that definitely also said 19.00 an hour ago... My ticket says 20.30 though :( DAMMIT!

I've had my ticket for this game for ages. Also bought my 8 year old one last week.
To be honest it really doesn't worry me that I'm paying more than others who lets face
couldn't be bothered until the price was lowered. What I'm unhappy about is the time
change. My son is an early to bed, early to rise kid so this is really going to stuff him up for
school the next day. Also my other half won't be happy when I tell here when she comes home.
But we'll still be going.

As a primary school teacher... if any of my children are feeling tired on Wednesday after seeing the Mariners play I will let them have a nice quiet snooze down the back.. after all it is the Mariners!!! :)
