ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Didn't see tonights game v the tards but it would appear that Fold Coast are back to their capitulating best.

What was that about going through the season unbeaten Clive ?

Good for us- simply put, they dont want to work hard to win the right to play football. Press them, hassle them and they dont want to be there.

Not good for next week ... they will be fired up ...
I think the opposite MF.....that team are incapable of "firing up" if it means hard work against an "in your face" team like us.

I think the fact we had an off night against Perth is more relevant tbh.

Having watched tonights demolition. I think they will undoubtedly be fired up.
But it doesn't matter how fired up you get, if you simply don't have the personnel on the park.
They are injury ravaged and don't have the necessary depth to compensate. Not many teams could TBF.

How did Etihad look with the stands in??
I didn't know they could do that down there.

So why haven't they done it before ?

very expensive to do so
That's fair enough.

But why do it for this match then ?

Wouldn't they just do it for internationals/finals etc ?

Believe it or not they had a contingent of visiting media inspecting venues for the world cup

Yup looked and sounded awesome there was also talk on bozza and the muppets fc that it creates an illusion of the goals being closer which they believe lead to alot more shots from distance.
Gold coast just didnt turn up i think they had maybe 3decent chances towards the end of the game they were just painicing and culina resorted to horrible random hero shots.

In theory going off results we should win this by 8+
we beat melbourne 4nil they beat gold coast 4nil ;)

The Jest did us a favor with the upset. Now were still only one point behind the Bling and they have to play the Fury next week who are coming off a home win and with the Fury already beating the Bling once at home this season. Lets hope lightning strikes twice and Fury pull out the win and we also give the Fold Coast another belting but up there this time.
