ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I'd only be remotely interested if one of the cunce gets arrested at HT for molesting a cheer leader. Other than that, FOAD NRL

One of the guys I work with, hard core manly supporter, reckons that the coast will boycott NRL games here over the recent Cronulla farce, as 'we want our own NRL team".

ITS f**kING EMPTY 10 MINS B4 KICK OFF ROFL

How do you think we might go next week 10 mins before KO? much as I hate them and their stupid sport, people who live in glass houses and all that

Tee bee eff, our situation is slightly different from tonights...... those teams playing tonight still have something to play for (and it's only Round 6 or 7 or whatever it is) - we literally have _nothing_ to gain from next week's game except for the opportunity to take-the-piss out of the team in song form for 90 minutes.

It is not a shit sport. It has some "colourful" characters, some neanderthal types, but it is a good game. You cannot tell me that Darren Lockyer would not have been an excellent left-midfielder or the freakish Greg Inglis a sensational striker or truly scary centre-half.

Yes, yes, I make these comments defending Rugby League some 7 hours after a Four Corners expose on group sex amongst NRL players, but not all of them behave this way. I still get enormous pride watching my country, NSW or my beloved Eastern Suburbs. And these blokes are TOUGH, they get smashed constantly and keep on getting up for more.

I am ashamed to say that I was NEVER tough enough to play the game, I stuck to Football and later, Australian Rules.

or stupid enough

i sure i could rustle up some guys who would smash themselves against a brick wall for eighty minutes and, yes, they would be tough, but it does not mean i would respect them any more

To counter that, it's an away match for both those teams.

If we played a CCM v MV match at Newcastle or Sydney, how many people do you think we'd get?

Granted, a small number of people will feel loyalty to the Storm through their CC youth affiliation.

Who really cares if the crowd for this match was 20 or 20 000?  It doesn't affect us either way.
