ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

May 1st is Starlight Day.

http://www.starlight.org.au/WhatsOn/Pages/StarlightDayMay1,2009.aspx

You can donate by either:

SMSing "Choose" to 1998 4769. It gives Starlight a $5 donation, and you receive a cute wallpaper for your phone in return.

Buying merch on Starlight Day! There are stalls going to be set up at Erina Fair, Westfield Tuggerah, or come visit me (yay!) on the Friday (1/5/09)and Sunday (3/5/09) at Fountain Plaza at Erina.

Going to Starlight.org.au and making a donation there.

/charity pushing.

Maybe if they didn't have so many employees taking advantage of them and bludging whilst at work they wouldn't require donations

you and others have had protection in the past with posts you reported being deleted - you would be lying if you said this was not the case

keensy's post is no worse than some of the stuff posted on here

Which part of my post did I single out anybody or state it was just charities?
All organisations have issues with productivity

Everyone has morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea breaks in which they can, in most companies use how they please.

Can we stop turning every thread into something else please?

I myself fully support starlight day and intend to buy merchandise as I do every year :D

ty alicia.

For those also who work in the city, Starlight have a massive display on in MartinPlace that's running from 6am...its full of stories and live acts from captains, and photos and displays of kids who have had wishes grnated over the years from Starlight. If you have a free 10 mins and you work nearby, should be a fun atmosphere :)

Thanks to anyone who bought Starlight Day merch, or made a donation!

We nearly double what we raised last year, it was fantastic. It was excellent to also speak to people who have had Starlight touch their lives.

Yay!

keensy can afford to waste rate-payer money on this forum given the success his employer has in investing money

and congrats pokey - i was at work in sydney so couldn't be there but always donate generously to cancer related causes given how it has touched my family

At which point did I single any one person or state how it is they waste there time? I just raised a problem which occurs in all organisations.
