ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

While I'm over hearing about the hundreds of fundraising events that have happened, and are still to happen since the fires, this actually sounds like it would be a good concert...some very interesting acts will be performing...

MELBOURNE
Augie March, Bliss N Esso with Paris Wells, Gabrielle Cilmi, Hunters and Collectors, Kasey Chambers& Shane Nicholson w/ Troy Cassar-Daley, Jack Johnson, Jet, kings Of Leon, Liam Finn, Midnight Oil (lol), Paul Kelly, Split Endz, Wolfmother (I can only assume it's the new lineup).

SYDNEY
Coldplay, Eskimo Joe, Hoodoo Gurus, Icehouse, Jet, Josh Pyke, Little Birdy, The PResets, Wolfmother, You Am I and more to be announced apparently.

Would like to see Coldplay, Eskimo Joe, The Presets, You Am I, Kings of Leon if I could get to Melbourne, and just for laughs, Midnight Oil...just to laugh at Garret shaking all over the stage.

From the sound relief site ...

The concerts will be a celebration of multiple music genres, with artists playing short sets packed with hits.  Concert goers are encouraged to attend the concerts from start to finish as major artists will be spread across the bill right from the very start of the day.

Coldplay and Kings Of Leon, who both have sold out concerts on March 14 in Sydney and Melbourne respectively, have kindly donated time from their busy schedules to perform 3-4 songs in the early afternoon.

Tickets will be sold for $75 and will go on sale from Ticketek 132 849 www.ticketek.com.au on Wednesday March 4, 2009 at 9am.  GA Standing on the field and reserved seating in the stands will be available for both concerts.

100% of the proceeds from the Melbourne concert will be donated to the Red Cross Victorian Bushfire Appeal.

For the Sydney concert 50% of the proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross Victorian Bushfire Appeal and 50% will be donated to The Premier's Disaster Relief Fund Appeal in QLD to aid the victims of the Queensland floods.

Particular thanks is extended to the Victorian Premiers Department, Cricket Australia and Cricket Victoria for their magnanimous decision to move the Sheffield Shield final out of the MCG, in turn freeing this iconic venue to be used for the Melbourne Sound Relief concert on March 14.

Tickets to Sound Relief go on sale from Ticketek 132 849 or www.ticketek.com.au on Wednesday March 4 at 9am.  Get in quick for what is set to be a once in a lifetime concert event.

Split Endz, Icehouse, Hunters and Collectors, Hoodoo Gurus, Midnight Oil, Paul Kelly.....fark me have we gone back to the 80s or something? Better have a defibrillator side stage...some of these acts could cark it mid song!

....and if I hear "One Crowded Hour" by Augie March again in the next ten years, I swear I'll go Ljubo. :-X

Paul Kelly was the headline for one of the summer festivals...homebake I think. But yeah they are all old acts.

Apparently they're playing first in Melbourne, then catching a plane to Sydney to play later in the day there.

Yet another rip off from another era from Wolfmother. Be original, guys!

I was never into Wolfmother originally..I take it they did something similar?

London and then Philly in the same day (timezones worked in his favour)

The verb "to Ljubo"

I Ljubo
You Ljubo
He/she/it Ljubo's

Hmmmmmmmmmmm if Dibo approves, a new verb is born
