Yeah, but IMO leave out the part about bringing their cameras into the Kendall to see "real" fans... stick to only the essential information.

* the news article was centred around Sydney FC, not the Mariners, so why have the Marinators (club) involved? Get The Cove to do some PR work with Ch7 and fire in an email to them.
* I know a lot of the CCY thing on this forum is firmly tongue in cheek, but you can now see how easy it is for any incident, no matter how minor, to be padded out in a news report and made more serious with Police spokesmen talking about violence at sporting venues, and European file footage.
* If there's ever an incident at Bluetongue to any serious degree, I doubt we can expect even this level of reporting to be soft on us. Remember, Sydney FC are media darlings compared to the Mariners, and I bet there's some sections of the media just waiting for a go at us. All they need is one incident to spark a week long trial by media....

One way people. Boycott 7. Dont watch it. Dont buy anything which it is linked to. Dont go to any website it runs. Vote with your feet. Send them lots of letters and emails voicing your annoyance.

7 obviously has only afl that it wants. So send positive letters/emails to ten, even 9 asking for more positive football coverage. Say that you are sick of 7 constantly slagging it off. Try and persuade them to do the right thing by football. Ten being the best bet.

A "get up" style campaign to try to bring bad publicity to 7's advertisers (that actually works and gets publicity) is the only thing they will listen to.
