ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Shame on the FFA!!!

FFA extended the invitation to players who’ve made “a significant long term contribution” to the Socceroos.

Recently retired Harry Kewell is not attending, while former captain Lucas Neill is playing on.

Mile Sterjovski - Socceroo from 2000-2010

43 caps 8 goals

2006 World Cup Finals played against Brazil, Croatia and Italy

Where is Mile's invitation?

Mark Schwarzer - 109 Caps
Brett Emerton - 95 Caps
Jason Čulina - 58 Caps
Harry Kewell - 56 Caps
Mile Sterjovski - 43 Caps

Guess 43 Caps isn't worth anything...

Given the players are being presented to the crowd just before kick off my guess is Timmy Cahill & Mile need to be in the sheds...

I understand that Mile isn't as big a name as Luke or Harry or Mark, but Culina is hardly a bigger name than Mile and a whole heap less classy.

Sterj the forgotten hero...that what he gets for playing for CCM and becoming a bigger legend than he already was...wiped off the FFA radar...but did we expect any less from Gallop and his nimrods
