It must be true!!!!!!!

Mark Schwarzer has left Fulham and is now playing in the A League for none other than... CCM!!! If you watch the exclusive footage you will see in what must have been an unpublicized friendly between every club in the league in the new lauded large sided football format that they are testing out, what appears to be Matt Simon bringing down Christian Sarkies for a free kick... Trouble you think? No Sarkies is standing over it for one thing, BUT!!! Guess who's defending against the free kick?? None other than the Schwarz meister himself!!!! Leaving a good CCM fan only one conclusion... The mighty Schwarz is now actually playing for the Mariners!!!

In further news. We have also recruited what looks to be every other player in the league to be in our wall from now on. This tactic is undoubtedly a new resolve based on our defensive performances in the ACL and may well finally be the answer to our set piece problem. Congratulations to Lawrie, Wilko and co for their defensive ingenuity at last.

I just wish Lawrie would play Danny upfront one game, have him score a goal, and get it out of his system.

Dunno about others here, but I get nervous whenever Danny tries to get involved in a corner at the other end of the field, leaving only one defender behind to somehow defend the open goal.

I do recall Tommy, or was it Porter(?), who had a massive sprint right at the end of a match in Sydney, to save a lobbed ball from the opponents' penalty box that was headed for our goal.

And, of course, Boogs having to take over goalkeeping duties for 30 seconds when Danny got sent from the field for handling the ref in the Grand Final vs. Scum. That was also an incident at the other end of the field, and my mates reckon - and I tend to agree - that Danny should never had been there in the first place.

I agree for a preseason game- why not play him upfront 
But on his coming up for corners, I thought why not for the GF?
As long as it doesnt distract our players...and provided he can head ball proficiently- then may as well.
Recall Sevilla GK (Palop i think) scored a header in UEFA 2 years ago...
That said if Danny is crap in corners...then totally pointless
