BRAZILIAN defender Roque Junior and fellow countryman Denilson could be playing in the A-League next season. The pair have received encouraging reports about the A-League from fellow Brazilian Juninho and Romario and are said to be interested in continuing their careers in Australia
Junior, 32, currently plays for Palmerias in Brazil after signing from Qatari side Al-Rayyan last year. He has played for Bayer Leverkusen, Leeds United and AC Milan, where he won the 2003 UEFA Champions League.
Junior was also part of the victorious 2002 World Cup Brazilian team.
Denilson Oliveira Araujo, 31, was another player in the 2002 World Cup for Brazil. The left winger has had stints at Real Betis and Bordeaux, and most recently at Palmeiras with Junior.
Another motivator for the duo was the signing of Robbie Fowler to North Queensland Fury. Fowler and Junior crossed paths at Leeds in 2003.
