Good news. Sounds like the pre-season is moving along well.

This! (didn't feel like enough to just click the "agree" option again .... I'm a little disappointed that Malik isn't playing, but really curious about seeing more of Vernes too.

To be fair to Cernak, he hasn't played much football over the last 2 or 3 years. He needs as much time on the pitch in pre-season as possible otherwise he'll just fade away. I would love him to realize his talent with us. To be successful this season i think we need the majority of the squad really pushing for a starting place. We didn't really have that last year.

True. I worry that he's already past it, but if he's going to shine anywhere it will be here.

1-1 the final score with Henrique scoring the equaliser. They looked a lot hungrier the second half, we looked flat, but we had some good chances too. Duke ran around a lot, and some of our pressing was great to see.

I thought there was quite a bit of hope in that... Defence looked a bit less shaky with Bosnar in though and I think I like it better when Vernes sits up higher... We should do alright this season again I think...
