it's funny how they got hosts who are very camp in both the british and australian versions

i really like peter everett as host - he is a massive dork and makes the show entertaining

Um, FTA is still main stream TV.

Interestingly, ONE of the smaller policies that Gough Whitlam went to the polls with in that "It's Time" election in 72 (?), was to remove the old TV licences that were still being a good cash cow for both the FTA channels and the Federal Govt.

30 years later the population is quite content to accept that to view the shows they want to watch, they have to pay a multi national media conglomerate for the privilege. 

Maybe FTA and Digital Plus can also look at streaming over the internet and wipe the pay TV folks off their lofty perch a bit?    ;D
