ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Has a lot to do with the crap deal to use Suncorp - almost no games have passed break even $, and many far below. Also their key original backer - the Lions social club can't be doing too well, even if still involved.

They never came to the party financially from what i have read. FFA are taking a major share and will sell it when they get the right investors, and in the meantime  make the club more viable

theyve now got a new contract with suncorp, which should be better for them. part of that is why ffa have switched the opening round game with roar vs gold coast to suncorp, and hence mr moneybags throwing his gold plated toys out of his gold plated pram, cause that fixture will be a big one

Courier Mail reports that they have done a deal to play Celtic at Suncorp in July and Fulham (if we dont make Europe of course)

The deal is not signed yet, the Qld CEO jumped the gun. But looks like it will happen, since ffa have a major stake now, and are leveraging off roos games

Roar CEO has just been punted.

He is a major shareholder (15% I think) and FFA felt he had a conflict of interest being CEO and Owner and they want a CEO responsible to the board not a part of it.

(Courier Mail - AKA the worst major city newspaper I have ever read)
