ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Truly worried about this one but if we can't win this we sort of deserve the spoon. Will be a big test for Paolo and the team they need to truly deliver a result in unfamiliar territory for the first time.

Anyone going down? Or will it just be Fishsmum and me at the ground? (And if the temperature is up around 35 C it will only be me...)

One man and his dog derby. 5pm on a Sunday for a transplanted game? What were they thinking?

For a coastie, thats about a 12 hour round trip returning home around midnight on a Sunday.

Especially dumb considering this is our "go out on a limb for Canberra game". Will be surprised if we get more than the W-League.

I dunno though - nux seem to have been a bogey team for us this season. Vision was the same for all three games. They just managed to compress and hold us well. I don't think that approach would suit Adelaide and while they have good players i don't generally rate them the same.
So we are at least a decent shout I think/hope.
We really need to win this one.

Adelaide only have two forwards heading into this weekends match with both Ryan Kitto and Nikola Mileusnic being injured.

Very similar to when Nix where missing half their team. Very nervous

I was more uncomfortable with the Nix tbh.
Not that i think we have this in the bag but the Nix second string still had Krisha, Bonevacia and Finkler starting - it was always gonna be scary.
A little concerned that Adelaide's Henrique replacement is flying in before the weekend...

This is the make or break game for us.
If we win we put some air between us & Adelaide giving us our longest winning run for quite a while.
Anything else & we're right back to being under the pump again.
Damn! I wish we were playing at home where the guys appreciate the support they get.

I'll be heading down with my son. Its predicted to be 39 degrees and there is a W League game on at 2:00pm before our game. There is a hight chance the heat will cause problems with delays especially after last weeks ADUvWEL game. It would be good to know before hand what the contingencies will be. Will both games be pushed back???
