ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Not happening. Heart have already shown their Reebok kits - seems Reebok still have the League contract.

was said to be a 5 year deal.

Did it start as 5 years, or was it one year and then another 5 renegotiated?

Either way anyone thinking we will have a glourious mixture of strips is to be dissapointed.

1, and only 1 company will supply all a-league clubs, and no company will be bothered being too individual for just 10 teams in a small market.

Personally i think reebok finanly came to the party a bit this year, started to differentiate a bit, make the clubs feel like clubs and not franchises.

That is also added to more input from the clubs to their designs.

As long as the clubs have some input into the designs, and know what other clubs have, so as they can not be too similar, it should be fine.

Presume if reebok stays on we may remain with our jersey, whereas if new company we will get new kit.

most things, including the original licence agreements for clubs and the broadcast agreement were set up as 5 year deals so clubs had some certainty to begin with.

the broadcast agreement was renegotiated i think in part because fox could see that we were worth a lot if we were bundled with the socceroos and in part because in that light they realised it would have been worth our while to investigate our options after the success of the first season. they threw money at us to secure our business and therefore their audience.

the gear i'm pretty sure was simply a 5 year deal, though, and they must have renegotiated.
