Possibly the worst ranking of all time

When I read this, I almost fell out of my chair!

A list of the top 10 teams in the world that doesn't include Barca and has Sydney higher ranked than Real Madrid has to be the worst ranking of all time!

It doesn't matter if it is a monthly rank, minute ranking or a second ranking - by no stretch of the imagination is Sydney FC a better team than Real Madrid.

it's not about who's the best team, it's about the story of the month. 'real madrid wins lots of games' isn't much of a story, especially two, three or four months in a row. that would get a run somewhere below 'the sky is blue' and 'the world is round'.

'team from the antipodes storms to the top of the league' is much more interesting to read about, and frankly it's good that australian football's being talked about by anyone OS.

i think its more of a "10 teams i think are doing well from around the world, but not including the obvious ones..." type ranking
