ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Player movements 2013/2014

The winds of change will blow through the team next year, it will be interesting to see the effect. Zwaanswijk will retire, Ryan will go to Europe, almost certainly Rogic although he may have visa problems, now McGlinchey may go and some of the fringe players such as Pellegrino, MacDonald and Kwassie plus those unforseen - but I have seen us replace Vukovic and overcome, after some time, the loss of Wilko, Amini, Griffiths and Simon. I don't want good players to leave but I do enjoy seeing the good players come in.

I'd hate to see WeeMac leave.
Him on one wing and Olly on the other.....that is a handful for any side and great for the fans to watch as they torment their opponents.

Makes perfect sense, which is why it is good we have such an adaptable squad.

Aye I'd be very sorry to see a number of players go both as players and people. That said I'd also be happy for them to build on their career and big money is good for players and club alike. That's just the Mariners model - take and devlop good players/people and sell them on then bring through more. It gives the likes of Caeceres a shot and from everything I've heard he too will develop and move on in a few years hopefully to big bucks for all.

Tongue in cheek - the Mariners are slowly becoming the Socceroos feeder team...

I don't think we will falter as badly this year if we lose Maty & Tomas as we did last year. Not saying they won't be missed, of course they will but we've beaten two top four sides quite comfortably without them. I'm talking about HAL, not ACL here.

While I don't mind seeing guys going OS for their careers sake I would just like to be building on a successful team in the next six months going into the ACL - not losing key players. This team - with the draw they have - can go a long way in the ACL - let's hope they get the chance to do so.

I would be pretty devestated to lose any of our main players to other a-league clubs.

Happy to see the club make a buck, and the players take a step forward in their careers overseas, but to other clubs for a payrise i would not like.

I do expect a couple to move on though...pelle...

Commentators mentioned last night that Arnie said he's confident of keeping Rogic through the January transfer window but not sure where they got their info exactly...
