Photos?

Hi all,

We're currently trying to hunt down photos from ALL the A-League seasons, whether it be pre-game, during the game, post game celebrations photos, or anything else Mariners related.

The A-League website seems to have lost all of these; go back a few seasons and there are none!

If anyone has photos or videos going back to the beginning of time (for the Mariners), we'd appreciate it if you share them, as we're trying to collate them all into one big resource for Mariners fans.

It would be helpful if they can also be attributed to specific games/events, rather than a random collection, although that's fine too (beggars can't be choosers!).

Please post links, or send anything through to photos@ccmfans.net. Everyone who contributes will get recognition for their help.

Great idea. Should be some early ones on the old Proboard site ... though that would be tough work I suspect. I'll see what I've got. My daughter should have some.

I'll see what I can find. I have some from the send off before the Mariners headed off to Adelaide in season one. I still have a picture on the fridge door of my daughter sat with Heffernen & Spencer. Also one of her with Lawrie McKenna

There weren't quite as many people there that day as there was last friday!

I found a couple of newspaper clippings from the lead up to the 2008 Grand Final- including the front page of The Express Advocate with a group of us photographed on the platform of Gosford station. I remember I had just shaved my head a few days earlier and the photographer wanted me at the front of the group. He kept telling me to "Look more aggressive" while he snapped away. Even as he snapped away I thought "Somebody is trying to push an agenda here..."
