ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Tribal football is about as unreliable a source of news that there is but how funny would it be if it were true

If he has signed with the scum then they would need to agree to any transfer, assume they would want a cut

Transfer would officially be from CCM to the new club

i thought that word is he's 'agreed to terms', not yet signed.

Why would we get any cash, if he has already signed for the scum? As a contracted scum player, would they not get the transfer fee?

but wouldnt he be contracted to us until the end of this season? so if the deal is done now is that not under our contract?

i would think yes - because it's primarily the contract with them that is being broken so they would be the ones to receive a fee (as i understand, the fee is simply compensation for the player being unable to fulfil the terms of the contract).

that said, if he's only agreed terms then he hasn't actually been contracted yet, they've just agreed what any such contract will say.

this one is a tricky one - depends on contract

didn't the jets get the transfer fee for jade north from the korean club even though he was contracted to fury

i guess the same rule would apply here

Would come down to his contract with Newcastle. If it's a proper signed contract, then they'd be able to demand some kind of compensation (fee) if it was broken.

Mariners don't really get anything. Especially if they've already agreed to let him go in February.

You don't want to get in to a Smeltz type situation trying to make a buck off a player you're already losing on a free transfer, just let it go.

But that is the Con north situation?

Milligan's Shenhua link was firstly reported there

No, but Sticca knows his stuff. As much as Tribal is bollocks for international stuff, you'll find a lot of local stuff is one the nose. He knows what he's doing.

Sticca is also Sasho's agent.
