ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

the trouble is....most other team's supporters would say they couldn't tell the difference from a normal matchday experience at Bluetongue :innocent:
......and do we really want to hand Melbourne Victory the advantage? I agree with the "other thread" comments about maybe not going to NSO.

A five minute coast chant - get the mega phone to go to the stands & tell everyone in both stands the meaning of us all uniting in song. All in as a community. possibly get the word out to SBS & Fox that it's a protest.

The yellow Army to start to the chant either in the 1st minute or the last 5 mins or when we scored the first goal in the GF - What ever doesn't really matter to much when.

I'm not doing a sit down protest and TBH I'd have the shits a little bit with those who did.. I show up in support of the team, not necessarily the club. Especially with MC treating it like a franchise.

Banners, on the other hand.. Yes I intend to do something.

Agree it's about showing support & care for our club. The boys don't deserve it - It's not there fault we are unhappy

What about a one off remix of the "we all follow the yellow football team" song.

Eg
We all follow the coasts football team, the yellow football team
The Coast are our team
Ole ole ole Central coast Mariners

I dunno something or a who do we song for remix

I've tried to think of one but they sound weird. This way way way all the stadium can sing as one show unity against the "Rumours".

A bit of fields of Athenry action?

By the Gosford broadwater
I heard the coasties calling
You'll never take this club of ours away
From dawn until the night
We'll stand and sing and fight
We are at home on the fields of Graham Park

All round the fields of Graham Park
Where once we watched big Zwaany play (and could he play!)
We had Ibini on the wing, we had dreams and songs to sing
We had dreams and songs to sing
We are at home on the fields of Graham Park

Me, from the other thread. Just sayin'
But don't forget, last year if Mike Charlesworth hadn't stepped up to bail us out - "finito" back then. So, care is required with the anti-Charlesworth sentiments, here and anything displayed at the game.

He'd certainly like us to think that, but I don't believe for a moment that he was the last and only option.

He'd also like us to think that having done that, all other sins will be forgiven.

You've heard the phrase "out of the frying pan, into the fire"?

Of course, there are still the Russians.

For over a 170 years we have been waiting for the Russians. I don't think they're coming. :p

in 1841 the Government of New South Wales decided to establish fortification at Pinchgut in order to repel a feared Russian invasion.[8][9] Fortifications at Queenscliff, Portsea, and Mud Islands in Melbourne's Port Philip Bay followed, as did similar structures on the Tamar River near Launceston and on the banks of the Derwent River at Sandy Bay and Hobart.
