Notification of 2008 Annual General Meeting of the Marinators Club
Please note change of date to Wednesday 4 March. Room in CCLC to be confirmed closer to meeting date.
All members are notified 21 days in advance of the Clubs next Annual General Meeting. This meeting will be held at the Central Coast Leagues Club on Wednesday 4 March at 8pm.
All present must be financial members of the Central Coast Leagues Club and the Marinators Club to be eligible to vote and nominate for any positions on the Clubs executive.
All positions are vacant and nominations are called for from financial members. The vacant positions are:
President, VP Events, VP Marketing/Liaison, VP Sponsorship/Fundraising, Club Captain, Secretary/Registrar, Treasurer, Sales and Member Support Officer, E-Commerce Officer.
It is now time to nominate yourselves to be on the Executive Committee for season 09/10.
A few pointers for members wishing to nominate for any of the executive positions within the Marinators Club.
PLEASE READ POSITION DESCRIPTIONS (click this thread to read them : http://marinators.net/forum/index.php?topic=795.0 )to give you a good understanding of the responsibilities invovled in that position.
Ensure you include the following in your nomination:
1. Tell us a bit about yourself including your name
2. Position you wish to nominate for
3. Briefly describe what you would like to achieve in the nominated position, and
4. A brief paragraph on why someone should vote for you.
This nomination must be no more than 3 paragraphs.
A document called the "Election Soapbox" with all nominees, will be distributed to members before the AGM, so members will know who and what they are voting for prior to the meeting.
REMINDER
Nominations must be received by the Secretary at close of Business 5pm on Wednesday 25 February 2009.
