New Terminator Movies

So here it is, guys, the brand spanking new Terminator Salvation that was hinted at last week when Entertainment Weekly (of all places) showed us a glimpse of it. The Powers That Be had been promising this all week last week, but we still havent seen the U.S. debut yet. Luckily the Japanese have seen it already, and heres a video of it. Its a pretty decent copy of the trailer, and it shows a heck of a lot more of the storyline, as well as all the main characters Christian Bale as John Connor, Sam Worthington as Marcus, Moon Bloodgood as pilot Blair Williams, rapper Common as Barnes, and Bryce Dallas Howard as a pregnant Kate Connor (aka Kate Brewster).

Update: Finally! The U.S. version of the new trailer has arrived online. You can watch it now in glorious high-def over at Apple.com, or just take a look at an equally good looking version below. The beginning is different from the Japanese version, and there are some new footages to boot. Check them both out below.

I've just watched both of the trailer....they look awesome. Bale is great as John Connor, and the machine at the end of the trailer looks like the Brumak out of GOW2.

After the crap that was the last Terminator movie, this actually looks good. I think Bale needs to be careful though. He's going to get a reputation for re-making franchises. Batman and now Terminator, both of which started awesome and got worse as each new movie was served up.

I assume he's saying Terminator 3 and Batman Forever/and Robin were bad movies, and that Bale reinvented the batman franchise...

Although they were bad movies, we have to admit they were still an improvement.

I enjoyed the last Terminator, it did well to set up the next movie (which is the last of the saga isnt it?).

I cant wait for this and will do what Auburn has said, not out of fear, but because this movie will be enjoyed best with a quality picture and awesome sound. im hoping they film (and show) this in IMAX quality like they did with the Dark Knight.

Yeah I was saying Term 3 and any batman with Val Kilmer or George Clooney were rubbish.

New trailer...4 minutes long in HD...looks fantastic. More scenes of the war thats been hinted at for three movies.
